Beginner Pistol private course

This course will be focused on the individual that is in the learning phase of operating a firearm. This is also a great refresher class for the individual that has taken some time off from shooting. We will learn all the fundamentals on how to operate a firearm safely and learn how to accurately put rounds on target. Student will walk away from this class feeling confident on how to operate their firearm safely.

The student will learn the following

  • Safety Rules and Procedures.
  • Marksmanship.
  • Fundamentals.
  • Trigger reset.
  • Loading and unloading the firearm.
  • Create good habits achieved through repetition and situational awareness.
  • If the student does not own a firearm and wishes to purchase one in the future, I will walk them through the process in getting one and set them up with the right people.

Gear for the class:

  • Handgun (if you do not own we can provide - additional cost).
  • 150 rounds (if you do not have ammo we can provide - additional cost).
  • Range belt with holster and holster for magazines (if you do not own we can provide).
  • Extra Magazines – 3.
  • Eye and Ear Protection (if you do not own we can provide).
  • Shirt with sleeves.
  • Hat.
  • Bring a lunch
  • Cost for the class will be $145
  • Cost for the class with no gear $230
  • Course Duration: 2hr
  • Course Offered on Saturdays and Sundays
  • 2 OR MORE FAMILY/FRIEND FEE WILL BE $115
